Customer story of Ellen Wilson

fit20 UK

Results:
I have lost a stone and a half since joining fit20 and I have dropped 2 dress sizes.

I have eliminated a lot of foods from my diet as I found I struggled with some of the exercises simply due to the excess weight I was carrying and decided there was no point exercising without changing my eating.

I was at a very low point when I joined fit20, being the heaviest I have ever been. Although I have further to go, I believe fit20 has restored my confidence. I now help my nephew, who is recovering from cancer, to train at a gym so I now not only motivate myself but motivate him!

Goals:
I wanted to regain my confidence; as a shift worker I was stuck in some bad habits such as eating late, making excuses not to exercise and lacking in motivation. I needed that one to one help from fit20 to motivate me and keep me focused.

I had previously tried personal training which did achieve temporary results but I found personal training at gyms was often unreliable and the staff changed often so when that ended I struggled to keep motivated and gave up.

Like most about fit20:
I enjoy that I don’t have to spend hours in the gym and can manage the fit20 sessions around my busy work life. I like that I can zone out for 20 minutes and totally focus on my training, a bit like meditation.

fit20 pushes me to my limits and the 12month committing to the programme for 12 months keeps me on track.

What would you say to anyone who's not sure if fit20 can work for them?
20 mins a week is definitely achievable for anyone. I recommend fit20 it to anyone wanting to get fit and to improve their general wellbeing. It’s never too late.
